We will miss you Dr. Robin Paige!!

Celebrating Robin’s Next Chapter

We’re proud to spotlight Dr. Robin Paige, aka Baby Bird, a longtime Anthos member and higher education leader, as she begins an exciting new role this fall.

Starting September 1, Robin will become Vice Provost for Academic Success and Innovation at the University of Texas at Dallas.

She’ll lead efforts to help more students succeed in college in this position. That means improving teaching, supporting academic programs, and providing students with the tools and guidance they need to thrive.

Journey of Leadership in Higher Education

Robin currently serves as Executive Director of the Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning and Associate Dean in the College at the University of Chicago.

Her career has included leadership and teaching roles at:

  • Rice University

  • Cornell University

  • UC Davis

Across these institutions, her work has often centered on education, teaching excellence, and institutional innovation.

Strength, Consistency, and Community

At Anthos, Robin brought that same energy into her training. She’s one of just 11 members in 6 and a half years to complete all Anthos Strength Tests, which include bench press, squats, deadlifts, pull-ups, and more. Reflecting on her time here, Robin says, “When I think of Anthos, I think of community and good people, which makes the gains easy.” One of her favorite moments was “getting her deadlift back over 200 pounds” (a milestone we were proud to witness).

Fun Fact: She’s Got Range

Outside of the gym and university halls, Robin is a serious hiker.

She’s completed the Skyline to the Sea Trail, a 30-mile trek with 2,300 feet of elevation gain, twice, finishing in under 10 hours.

A Lasting Impact

Robin’s consistency, strength, and presence have been a huge part of our community. We’re honored to have supported her in this chapter and can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

Congratulations, Robin! Dallas is lucky to have you.
